Over 20 Years of pet care experience

I've been around animals my whole life and some of my earliest memories are of family pets and helping to take care of them. When I was a child my grandparents were registered Boxer dog breeders and so I grew up helping raise the pups. I think this is where my love of dogs comes from.

As I grew up I had many small animals, 4 mice named Tinker, Binker, Timothy and Duncan, a gerbil called Alister, 3 rabbits names Fudge, William, & Sooty, and of course, a family dog. Our dog, a border collie called Rebel, was my best friend and I spent all my time with him. He sadly passed away at the ripe old age of 17, the same age that I was at the time. After sometime we adopted a gorgeous rescue boxer, Bella, and a year later a rescue Staffordshire Bull Terrier Pup, named Tilly. Tilly was my first dog all of my own, and has taught me so much. She's definitely my baby.

I've always wanted to be around animals

When I left school I went to college and earned a level 3 NVQ in Animal Care, passing with merit. Whilst at college I did work experience in dog grooming, dog training, cat rescue, and a farm. I always knew that I wanted to be a dog walker but found it hard to break into and ultimately left the pet care industry. I still continued my passion for animals though, and over the years kept rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, budgies, canaries, fish and even a turtle. In 2021 my husband sustained a spinal cord injury, meaning I had to become his carer. Over the last 2 years he has become increasingly independent, giving me the time to pursue my dream of my own dog walking business.
